We take majority or minority equity tickets. We also invest in quasi-equity instruments (bonds, current account).
The size of our tickets may greatly vary, reflecting the various needs of our portfolio companies and the diversity of situations encountered.
We invest in a team and in a development project in various contexts: carrying out complex transitions (carve-out, MBI), supporting the completion of complex build-up operations, acquiring underperforming companiesor companies in difficulty.
We can invest alongside historical shareholders or as co-investors.
We invest in B-to-B companies in industry and services with a turnover that ranges from €20m and €250m.
Our targets are French companies, or foreign companies whose main economic focus is in France. The equity we bring allows the company to finance its development plan: investing in production resources, dealing with a growth crisis, supporting a complex shareholder transition, rebalancing a financial balance sheet, mitigating the consequences of an operational accident, developing new markets, launching new products, conducting a build-up operation, etc.
Arcole supports managers in defining and implementing their development plans.
We thoroughly analyze the situation. We define a clear growth path by identifying the levers for value creation. We assess the company’s ability to implement this development plan without making bets on levers that can not reasonably be controlled.
The teams are systematically involved in value creation.
